December President’s Report

Dec 24, 2021 | President, President's Corner, Recent News

The holiday season is in full swing. It’s the time of thankfulness and generosity. It’s also a time of reflection. Unfortunately, some of our extended Union family are mourning the passing of their loved one. In times like these we come together “To assist each other in sickness or distress.” I want to call attention to the Sisters and Brothers who pay ahead their Death Benefits.

At the time I am writing this article Death Benefit #448 is due and payable. Four Hundred and Seventy-seven (477) good Union members are paid ahead on their Death Benefits by at least one. This includes 151 members who are 5 or more Death Benefits ahead, 77 who are 10 or more ahead, 30 who are 15 or more ahead, and 18 who are 20 or more ahead. Please take a moment to think about that. Eighteen (18) Sisters and Brothers paid at least $160 to help families in distress. Some paid much more.

The top 3 are:
Jason Apodaca – An apprentice who is paid up to Death Benefit #500
Gabriel Flores – Who is paid up to Death Benefit #485
Kevin Clark – Who is paid up to Death Benefit #485

Here are other good Union members who have paid ahead:
Tyler Grass (484)
William Norris (470)
Mark Kronke (465)
Jeong Park (483)
Steve Hanson (470)
Taylor Sweet (465)

….and the list goes on!

I am grateful to be surrounded by my Union family. I am grateful to our Sisters and Brothers who are current with their Death Benefits and assisting families in their time of need. I have the utmost respect for the 477 Sisters and Brothers who have gone above and beyond. You keep our Union running! You make our Union strong! We all cannot thank you enough! Thank You,

In Solidarity,
